Troll Dolls

The first tolls to come to the United States were molded after a 1952 design by Marti and Helena Kuuskoski of Tampere, Finland. As the demand for trolls inceased, several US manufacturers began to produce them. Today trolls are enjoying a come back as baby boomers try to recapture their childhood.

From the '70s, '80s, and '90s, new trolls were produced and are collectable, but avid troll collectors still prefer those produced in the '60s. The five trolls that I have for sale are from the early 1990's and each is in its orignial box and hasn't been played with.

Treasure Troll Tots with thier own bellybutton WishStone are special in many ways: they have a soft huggable body and long, soft, colorful hair. According to Stephen Cosgrove, "They squiggle, giggle and rarely cry, as their WishStones glitter like stars in the sky.
